The Progression towards Perfection

I am fat

So, I’ve come to the decision that I am fat. I’ll see what I can do, but I’m making no promises until after the summer is ended. Then I’ll start making some declarative statements. 

I went to the sushi bar. Genki Sushi which has a conveyor belt for all the sushi plates. I had all these wonderful things. Every last one of them was tasty and more healthy than I usually would eat on my own haha. I’m so happy to have went, it was a lot of fun, and I’ve never been anywhere like it. Besides that, I’ve never eaten that much sushi at all. So this was really exciting to come and see. 

I don’t remember each and every name of the foods that I ate, but they were all good. I’d recommend anyone to go and try it out. :)

I had a Dr. Pepper too. 

Weight update

25 March 2014

Today I weighed myself after lunch. I am 175.6 lbs. That’s not an improvement in anyway at all, but it is an honest update. Been eating too many sweets I think haha. But like I said, I’m trying to just enjoy myself while I am here on the island. I just want to lose weight, or keep at the same range until I’m back home. Then I’m going to plan on a membership like I once had. Try to get a schedule that is complimenting to my lifestyle. And right now I think sleep is a major factor too. Haha, I never get enough. 

No more diet for now… (19 March 2014)
So I kind of fell off my diet. What’s new right? I always fail on the diet, and heck, even the exercise. So here I have some deep fried food. Why you ask? Well because I have a deep fryer! Who wouldn’t make use of one? This is onion rings and chicken breast, beer-battered. I had fried fish sticks earlier too. Now, I’m not eating like this every day haha, I just happened to eat a lot today. 
I think I might start back up on a more conscious way of eating, rather than a day per say. Such as the way I ate when I worked out last year at this time (March 2013). I wasn’t truly on a diet, but I ate with the mindset of health and thought of food as fuel. I ate with protein in mind for muscle and carbs for energy. I think I’m going to do that again, but to be honest I think I’m going to throw in more sweets right now too haha. I’m enjoying my time with my best friend while I can before I move halfway across the world. So we might as well enjoy our time together and eat delicious noms, right? ;D [[~Dear BF~ I won’t let myself get too fat, so BF don’t worry about that too much. Let’s just enjoy the time we have to hangout while we still can. I’ll get back on track sooner or later. ]]
Also, I changed up my work schedule, so I’ll be able to workout soon again I hope. I might have to edit the way I do it though, I’m not sure. I want to do the same routine I did last year. The way I’ve trained recently just seems so different and demands more from me than I think I can handle. I don’t know for sure, but we’ll see what happens. Best believe I’ll try to keep you all updated as best as I can. I apologize for the lack of posts, but I don’t feel that I have much to report since I have fallen off track.

Cheat day tomorrow!

To be honest, I’ve not been eating my low carbohydrate diet like usual. I have been eating a calorie restricted, but I haven’t been sticking to my diet the past week. I will go back to it. Also I fell off from working out, which will change. This past week has been a bit hectic. But I’ll figure it out sooner or later. I’ll do this. Now that I am no longer carb-depleted, I am back to about 173-174 lbs. I’m sure I’ll lose 5 lbs easily once I’m carb-depleted again. I think this would be the same is going into a ketosis state, I believe. 

Anyway, I’m back to hanging out with my good friend/inspiration once more, and I’ll get back on a better diet. I think I might try taking Metamucil for breakfast, then maybe something small for lunch, then a salad or a protein dinner, and a protein shake. Or perhaps a protein shake before my last meal. Not sure yet. I’m just going to figure it out as I go.

Elliptical running

So I know that the elliptical isn’t the same as running outside, but I would still like to say I ran 2 miles in 15 minutes. Which for me, is very good. I was on level 13 resistance. 

So yeah, that’s pretty cool for me haha. But I was dead after than. Walking down the stairs afterward was kind of funny because my legs wanted to fall out from under me.

These were some of my meals on Saturday, my cheat day. 
Two big slices of pizza. Pineapple, ham sausage, pepperoni. Also peaches. PEACHES are so sweet and yummy. :) Grilled cheese sandwich on Hawaiian sweet bread. And then I had Musubi, rice, chili rice, french fries, and sushi. Food I didn’t picture was cookies, a bunch of them. Soft chocolate cookies that were quite tasty. Peanut butter, donut, lemon square, and sodas.
It was pretty tasty. But I think I’m going to try and take it a little more easy on my cheat days. I was stuffing my face the past couple Saturdays, so I’m going to just eat as I go instead of making it a top priority, or I’ll wind up as big as a planet.

I am super tired today. :< I could barely hangout as much with my best friends because of my tiredness. They wanted to go swimming but I seriously would have been more of a drag in the water, so I didn’t go. I feel bad though, I really want to hang out with them. :( I feel like I was being a party-pooper by not going in the water, but I didn’t want to make it worse too by going in and hanging my head low. 
I also can’t hang out with them tonight, so it’s really a downer. On my cheat day I wish I could just enjoy it and have an easy, relaxing day but unfortunately I’m just exhausted and such. It’s been like that recently. I think I need more sleep. It’s just a shame I can’t do more, there is not enought time in one day. 

End of week 2

Weight: 168.6 lbs

I am super tired today. :< 
I could barely hangout as much with my best friends because of my tiredness. They wanted to go swimming but I seriously would have been more of a drag in the water, so I didn’t go. I feel bad though, I really want to hang out with them. :( I feel like I was being a party-pooper by not going in the water, but I didn’t want to make it worse too by going in and hanging my head low. 

I also can’t hang out with them tonight, so it’s really a downer. On my cheat day I wish I could just enjoy it and have an easy, relaxing day but unfortunately I’m just exhausted and such. It’s been like that recently. I think I need more sleep. It’s just a shame I can’t do more, there is not enought time in one day. 

Injury Update again

Finally I am healed from my throat issue. I think it was sinus or something related to my ear canal. But at any rate, I am feeling better about that. 

But on the downside, I am actually suffering from a new injury. My main concern now is my back. I think I strained it while doing oblique lifts. I’m not happy about it and it is very painful sometimes. :/
Minor injuries are just cuts on my foot that I got from surfing. Not terrible but they are irritating. And they seem to be taking a while to heal. My left ankle was kind of stiff and clicking too, but hoping it is nothing. 

Other than that I’m alright. Really tired all the time as a result of my low-carbohydrate diet and I think my sleeping habits more than anything. I feel like I don’t get enough sleep, but I just don’t have enough hours in the day! Seriously haha. Sore all over too just from working out, but that’s natural indeed. I guess it means I’m doing something right. ;)

New scale!
I was out with my friend at a Goodwill. He spotted this, so naturally we checked it out and it works perfectly. Way better than our old one so I definitely picked it up. Cost me only $10 or so and it was brand-spanking-new, still in the box even haha. It was a great deal.

I was out with my friend at a Goodwill. He spotted this, so naturally we checked it out and it works perfectly. Way better than our old one so I definitely picked it up. Cost me only $10 or so and it was brand-spanking-new, still in the box even haha. It was a great deal. 

As you can see, today I weighed in at 171.0 lbs :P

I’m in a pretty good mood indeed 

These are the foods that I was not allowed to eat… It’s no longer my cheat day. That pizza was huge! There was even more pizza too, supreme, pepperoni, cheese, and such. It looked so good. 

Then there was the cakes and pies that haunted me. They wanted to be eaten so bad, but unfortunately I had to turn them down. You can see my water in the top corner though haha. Yay for water.

Cheat Day 1

Siiiick

It’s terrible! I don’t know what it is. My throat hurts even just to swallow. I think it’s affecting my energy too. I feel tired and exhausted all the time. I want it to go away now, as soon as possible! Also it’s only the left side of my throat. I don’t know why D:

On the plus note I made chicken adobo for the first time on my own. It wasn’t a smashing success, but I’d still call it adobo haha. It was good indeed.

I ran out of whey protein today, so in two days, on Friday, I’m planning on getting more. Maybe I’ll look around for some other stuff too. Multivitamins or whatever else there is. I’m going to browse the GNC store. 

Dieting so far

It’s only day 2 of the diet, but I feel like if I continue to do this diet for a while, I will get very fit. I’m pretty exhausted right now, after today’s morning workout. 

I’m pretty much aiming to eat 2-3 eggs in the morning, chicken during the day, and a salad for dinner. Also a protein shake, probably between lunch and dinner to hold me over.`
